Class Evaluation
I like  everything of this class. I like all the things we do like our electronic portfolio, flash card machine, delicious and w3schools. I like electronic portfolio because there we can write information about something and other people can see it and that can help someone who need information. The flash card machine helps me because when i need information about something i can find cards that help me learn that information and that helps me with my other classes. I like delicious count because it save all the websites i want to save it, if I really like the page i can save it. I like www.3schools because we are learning how to make a website.

There is nothing I don't like in this class. I think the class is fine like that there is nothing you need to change. I like the way you teach us.  I like how you tell us about the ways and keys to success. I like that you show us the videos, I would like to watch  more videos.

A highlight in this class  started to learn how to do a web site. I was so exited because we were going to have our own website. I awesome that we are going to create our own page.

I really do my best in this class. I try to finish all the work. I like to think about how I would be if I achieve one of my hardest goals in life which is becoming what I want to be. When we read our journals I sometimes add to our Sharpening the Saw section. It is like therapy writing down your thoughts.

Yes I am committed to being a CTR person because being a CTR person is like achieving goals. Choosing the right should be everyone's goal because I think if anyone wants to do something then they shouldn't give up on it. They shouldn't go the other way which is the wrong path in life. It will just get you no where and it'll be a waist of time. You should always aim for your goals I know for sure not to choose doing things I know aren't good for me. I actually have goals I want to achieve so I can have a successful future.

The 10 Keys to Personal Power

Brian Tracy

briantracy.com

key 1:Clarity
"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you're going. If you do not have clears specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do."

This means that if you don't take your own decisions someone else is going to take them. the decisions they make would

Key 2: Competence
"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."

If you do everything right good things are going to came to you.when you work hard for something you really want you get it. People will always do their best so if you want the same thing as them you got to do better.

Key 3: Concentration
"Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself "Is this the best use of mt time?" before you start anything."

This quote tells us that we need to use our time only in productive things. Doing bad things is a waste of time that would give others the opportunities that are for you. Before you do something thinks if you really need to do that. wast your time on your on something that  would favored you.

Key 4: Common Sense

  • Train your mind
  • Think things through
  • Listen to your intuition
  • Learn from setbacks
Use your mind to do the right thing

Key 5: Creativity
"Except the fact  that the every human being is a genius. The hall mark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most creative ask the most questions."

the creativity is inside of every person but in once more than others that is what makes us smart. people with more creativity  wants to know more things and they ask more questions so they can expand their creativity.

Key 6: Consideration

"The quality of your relationships with other people will determine your success in life."

"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator.  Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."

"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you’ll be the best educated person in history."

Be considerate is a good way to have personal power because that shows to other people that you are a god person. Being considerate with other people can bring you friends. If you are considerate with others  they will be considerate with you

Key 7: Consistency

" Dependable, steady predictable work is always  superior to fast spurts of work."

"Be consistent in your relationships, your family, friends, your boss, your work. Be the person that people can depend upon.  That if you say you’ll do something you do it.."

This key would hep you be a responsible person. This key says that you have to do what you say you were going to do. Do not tell your friend, boss or family that you are going to do something and you don't do it because they are trusting your. be a responsible person and you'll see the improvement.

Key 8: Commitment

"No success is impossible  without commitment. the ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."

"Become totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."

Key number eight is so important because this key tell us that we have to be dedicate to our work that means if we want to success we have to do our work with passion. No distraction when you want to success you have to focused on the things you are going to do to success.

Key 9: Courage

" The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."
If you are afraid of try something you really want you will never know if you could do it or no. Have the courage to do the things you want. Do not let anyone to stop you.

Key 10: Confidence

"You only get confidence by doings over and over again."

W hen you try something and you are not successful you won't feel good with you until you get it right. sometimes we decide not to try it again  and forget about it but if we do not try again we will be regretting later.

Reflection
The ten keys are really helpful if you want to change and be a better person. Each and every one are necessary to be a ctr person, to choose the right things to be one kind person not a lier

LA  Trade Tech
Founded in 1925 as the Frank Wiggins Trade School, Trade-Tech is the oldest of the nine public two-year colleges in the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) I think this a good college to go. This college offer   full classes, and open classes .
The 7 Habits of  Highly Effective People

Habit 1: Be Proactive
"Habit 1 is the key  to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first. It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seats of my destiny, not just a passenger."

Habit 2: Being with the End in Mind
"Control your own destiny or someone else will."(Jack Welch)
"When you know where you intended to end up, you know where you are now."
(Covey)

This mean that your are the only one who decides about your life and non one else. You are who decides where everything ends or starts. You are the only one who decide to

Habit 3: Put First Things First
" Organize and execute around priorities."
To put first thing first is a thing of responsible people. When you are

Habit 4: Think Win-Win
"Think win-win or no deal."
Most of us learn to base our self-worth on comparisons and competition. We think about succeeding in terms of someone else failing that is, if I win, you lose, or if you win, I lose. Life becomes a zero-sum game. There is only so much pie to go around, and if you get a big piece, there is less for me, it’s not fair, and I’m going to make sure you don’t get anymore.

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood
"Diagnose before you prescribe."

Habit 6: Synergize
"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (1+1=3)"
When people begin to interact together genuinely, and they’re open to each other’s influence, they begin to gain new insight. The capability of inventing new approaches is increased exponentially because of differences.
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw
The Four Dimensions of self-Renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional
The habit 7 means  take care of your body by eating right, exercising and getting sleep. Spend time with family and friends. Learn in lots of ways and lots of places, not just at school. Find meaningful ways to help others.
Reflection: The seven ways are helpful to live every day in life. If you want your live a peace life the 7 ways are your key. I will put this in my life. I am sure this will change my life in a god way.

How to Remember Names
1.Meet and repeat:When you get someone’s name, don’t just nod and continue  the conversation, try to plug the name into what you’re saying
2.Spell it out: Asking someone to spell his or her name, especially if it’s an unusual one
3.Associate:Many experts suggest that you conjure a verbal game or image when you first hear a name.
4.Make connections:Another way association can be helpful is to make a connection between the person you’re talking to, and someone else you know with the same name, i.e. Carrie, like my sister
5.Choose to care:

Cristiano Ronaldo
he is the best player in the world. He worked so hard to be where he is now. When he was little he was bullied. he played like no one. It was through his dad's work as an equipment manager at a boy's club that Ronaldo was first introduced to the game of soccer. By the time he was 10 years old, he was already recognized as a phenomenon—a kid who ate, slept and drank the game. "All he wanted to do as a boy was play football," his godfather, Fernao Sousa, recalled for British reporters, adding, "He loved the game so much he'd miss meals or escape out of his bedroom window with a ball when he was supposed to be doing his homework."
Six Ways to Make People Like you. If you want people to like you......

Rule 1: Become genuinely interested in other people.
1) "Do this  and you will be welcome anywhere."
2) "You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in your."
3)"Ask questions to other people, questions that they would enjoy answering."
The rule become genuinely interested in other people is a good rule because

Rule 2: Smile
1)"Actions speak louder than words, and smile says, "I like you. You make me happy. I am glad to see you."
2) "You don't feel like smiling? Then force yourself to smile."
3)"It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign (witness or indication) of friends
If you always smile people would see you as a friendly person they would want to talk to you. When you smile all the sad things become a little happy.
Rule 3: Remember names
1)"A man's name is to him the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
2)"If you don't remember names, you are headed for trouble."
It’s one of my personal frustrations that I am naturally terrible at remembering names. I place great value on truly connecting with other people, and I know one of the simplest ways you can make someone feel recognized is to remember and speak their name. Plus, let’s face it, blanking on someone’s name whom you’ve met before  or worse, just been introduced to  is borderline rude, and fully embarrassing.

Rule 4: Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves.
1)"If you aspire to be a good conversationalist, be an attentive listener."
2)"remember that the man you are talking to is a hundred time more interested in himself and his wants and his problems than he is in you and your problems.
Good listening isn’t something that we should limit to authority figures. It’s something you can do with everyone you encounter: your friends, your family, significant others, new people in your life – and even yourself. Effective listening offers you many benefits, and encourages the speaker to feel valued as well.

Rule 5: Talk in terms of other man's interest.
"The royal road to a man's heart is to talk to him about the things he treasures most."
Talking in terms of the other person’s interests isn’t that hard. It just takes the willingness and patience to be a good listener and the smarts to ask a few good questions. The willingness and patience are the hardest things for most people for a few reasons. If you can be a good listener and talk in terms of the other person’s interests it can end up being fun because you get to know more about another person and you might learn about something new. I encourage you this week to become other-focused and engage people on their terms based on their interests. Do so and you’ll win more friends and influence more people.
Rule 6: Make other person feel important--and do it sincerely.
"The desire to be important is the deepest urge in human nature." (John Dewey)"Helping people feel important and appreciated works magic."This one is a challenge, and no mistake, because it doesn't work without sincerity. One of the simplest ways to make someone feel important is to give honest and sincere appreciation. At the most fundamental level, an expression of appreciation acknowledges that the other person exists and is valued--the cornerstone of feeling important. Particularly in professional relationships where such things are not expected, goes a long way to helping a person with whom you deal (like your agent, editor, or publicist) feel important in a good way. Of course, it must be sincere, which almost always means it must be personal.

Final Reflection: I think that the six ways to make people like me are going  to help me to be a better friend and make new friends. If you want to talk with some one  and you don't know how following the six ways will be easy.

"The Six Attitudes of High Achievers"

John R. Noe

1. Make no small plans

Make no small plan is to do tings that you see as a goal. Do big plans that will take you some where.

2. Do what they fear

This means to do what others can't do. Do what other are afraid of . don't be afraid do what you want.  Show them you can do it.
3. Are willing to prepare
Some people are ready to do what they want to do in life. When that time come you have to be ready for what is coming to you . You need to prepare yourself to be a good person, to be educational
4.Are willing to risk failure

Failure is not the enemy of success. It is a teacher - a harsh teacher, but the best...If you are going to be a high achiever, you must learn to fail your way to high achievement. Case in point: For three consecutive Olympic Games, beginning in 1952, each decathlon silver medalist went on to win the following Olympic's Gold Medal. We must not expect to win each time out, but let our losses teach and strengthen us. High achievers know the formula for success. "Double your failure rate."
5. Are teachable

The high achiever continually pursues new knowledge and insights. Staying teachable demands three activities - reading, observing, and listening. It also demands the recognition that "the higher you go the more help you need." Keep in mind that high-achievement goals can only be attained with the help of others. Take advantage of the many mentors along the way.
6. Have heart

Why is having heart so important? Most people have no heart at all and they think that they don't need to feel just they just do what they want to do. Having heart means to me that you do it not because logically you have to do it but you do it because you know deep in your heart that it is the right and heart-full thing to do. An example of having a heart is when you see someone needs help and you do not help them because you do not know them but if you had a heart you will know it was and it is the right thing to do.Another example of having a heart is not breaking someones heart to make your heart or someone else feel better.

Reflection: What i learned or reflected on about the 6 attitudes of high achievers is that all of these qualities are really a positive impact on a person’s life and i did not realize that because i never wanted to reflect om the. The main reason that these 6 ways has effected my life in a big way is that anything is possible if you just set your mind to the possibility that you wean tit to reach. i know that most people only have one of the 6 attitude in them but i also know that they could have all six if they just set there mind to the possibility that they can and will. There was points that i thought i did not have any of these attitudes in me but when i started to finish my reflections i was noticing within my self i did have the qualities in me.

The 9 ways to be happy

1. Be Grateful
Gratitude is good for you. Some people can have trouble being grateful with their selves as with people. To be grateful in your current state, it is helpful to remember the hard times that you once experienced. When you remember how difficult life used to be and how far you have come, you set up an explicit contrast in your mind, and this contrast is fertile ground for gratefulness.

2. Be Smart
Some people treat their selves the wrong way by drinking alcohol consuming drugs that is not being smart. Being smart means to treat yourself good. You can be smart by choosing the right for you. Not wasting your money in thing you don't need. Things
3. Be Involved in Good Works
Being involved in good works is a good thing for your life because you are doing good things instead of no doing something or doing bad thinks like smoking, drinking alcohol, stilling, fighting, or not going to school. When you go to school your are involved in good works. At school you learn good things  If you go to school and you don't do nothing you don't being involved in good things.  You can be involved in sports. For example when you are in a sport team you are doing good because that helps your body to be healthy. You can also can make more friends when you participate in something. When you are involved in a group work is good. Getting on time at school is good. Doing tour home works and class works.
-+
4. Be Clean
One way to be happy is to be clean in all the ways. Being clean everywhere is to do the right thing. It is important to put the trash where it belongs.Get enough sleep, exercise at least half an hour a day. 8-9 hours of sleep is best. To stay fit, play a sports  and work out.
5. Be True
Being true is a good way to be happy because everyone can trust you and you can trust them. When you lie to someone or about something people stops trusting you. If you lie about your work just to being seeing as a great person you are going to be discover some day and the true  will come out and you are going to be the worst person. Be true is not only say the true is being you not coping others people actions.
6. Be Positive
To be positive is one of the ways to live a happy life because when you put a smile to all the bad things they become better. If you’re negative everyday your life is not living the good moments. Maybe you don't want to negative but you don't know how to be positive. Substitute your negative thoughts with positive ones. Substitute thoughts about poverty, with thoughts about wealth, weakness with strength, lack of self-esteem with self-esteem, disharmony with harmony.
7. Be Humble
A big part of being humble is respecting others, and part of respecting others is helping them. Treat other people as equals and help them because it is the right thing to do. It's been said that when you can help others who cannot possibly help you in return, you have learned humility. If you've made a mistake, then confess and admit that you're wrong. Even though saying you're sorry to someone else is painful, you'll have to get over your pride and tell another person that you're sorry for the harm you've done. If you're always rushing to get things done first and get to the front of the line, challenge yourself to allow others to go before you - for example, elders, disabled people, children, or people in a hurry.
8. Be Still
There will always be a long list of things to do that may require your immediate attention; however, it’s important that you establish a period of uninterrupted time when you refrain from any activity that shifts your focus away from being completely still. Avoid worrying about everything that you have to do that day or the next day. And don’t allow your mind to drift off into memories of the past or thoughts about the future.
9. Be Prayerful
This nine ways made my life easier because it show me what to do with myself . The nine ways made me a better person . I try to be a better person with all the people every day. Makes me see a different side of life. Now when I'm about to make a decision i think in the nine ways and i know I' choosing the right. this nine ways can help anyone who is depressed and has bad habits. This really helps you improve  your life.

"There they are, nine "Be's  which, if observed, will bring handsome dividends to any young man or woman. They will add sparkle to your days and peace to your nights. they will save you from heartache and pain. they will bring purpose purpose into your life and give direction to your energies. They will bring you friends of your own kind. They will protect you from associations that would pull you down and deflect you from your course. This is a time to be happy. This is a time to feel joy and make friends and enjoy the best this life has to offer. What I have tried to put forth .... are simply a few suggestions, gained from many years of living, to help you do just that. The world will tell that certain kinds of things will bring you happiness – things such as popularity and possessions and satisfying your baser desires. If today you find yourself only drifting as a leaf in a stream, get hold of yourself and determine you will do better. At railroad grade crossing, signs of warning were once common. Two cross arms were emblazoned with the words, “Stop, Look, Listen.” They meant that a train could be roaring down the tracks and you had better be alert.

I was riding a train in the Midwest years ago. I looked out the window to my left. A road ran parallel to the tracks. A car with a boy and a girl was speeding down the road a little faster than the train. The car moved ahead until I can no longer see it. Suddenly, the locomotive whistle sounded and the train screeched to a halt as the brakes gripped the wheels. We looked out the window on to the other side. There was a mangled car. Police cars soon converged, followed by the ambulance. The boy and girl were both dead. The road they were traveling crossed the tracks. They did not stop, look, or listen. It all happened in an instant.

The better way to Be is the way of these nine Be’s.

The years will inevitably pass, and pass quickly. Today is your day of resolution. Promise yourself to make something good of (your) precious life."

Gordon B. Hinckley
